This is the website of Phil Avery, a Geography Teacher at Oxted School in Surrey. It aims:

To inspire people to study Geography, be adventurous and go on incredible journeys.

For a number of years I worked very hard to make money by selling digital cameras and assorted toiletries. I was bored, uninspired and in need of change. Last year I headed to Antarctica, I've just been to Iceland and next summer I'm off to Borneo; I'm loving my job, enjoying my free time and generally having a ball ... all because of working within Geography and education.
