This is the website of Phil Avery, a Geography Teacher at Oxted School in Surrey. It aims:

To inspire people to study Geography, be adventurous and go on incredible journeys.

For a number of years I worked hard to make money by selling digital cameras and assorted toiletries. I was bored, uninspired and in need of change. In 2007 I headed to Antarctica, last summer I went to Iceland and this summer I'm off to Borneo; I'm loving my job, enjoying my free time and generally having fun ... all because of working within Geography and education.
